location as context

Still think location-based services are lame? Or context is too hard?

We’re not the first to think of it, but if I walk into a theater or meeting and decide to silence my ringer, I’d like to have an extra option: “here only”.

If we were designing it, it would not change the ringer back to normal state until it actively detected that it was at least 100 meters away, not just that it lost location.

Brilliant use of context. You’ve inspired me to think a little deeper regarding location
